We have many customers that use our mirror back badges with fabric instead of the normal paper/Mylar combination.

We normally suggest a few tips to ensure the best results;

Make sure the fabric is not too thick.

Use an iron-on fabric backing for very thin fabric, or to save money use a sticky label. Be sure to take into account that sticky label adhesives can "creep" as they get old (turn soft and penetrate the fabric to the viewing surface)

If the fabric is sheer you will be able to see through the fabric to the metal dome below, take care to either colour the dome before making the badge, or make sure the backing for the fabric is opaque.

Be aware that you will get more badge making failures with fabric due to the fabric's ability to "squirm" during the pressing procedure.
