We stock these as they are slightly less expensive than our NDA neodymium magnet (also known as NdFeB, NIB or Neo magnet), the most widely used type of rare-earth magnet, neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available. magnets, they work excellently against steel surfaces, but the magnetic strength is not as powerful, so for example, if you were holding pieces of paper to a whiteboard we would still recommend the NDA neodymium magnet (also known as NdFeB, NIB or Neo magnet), the most widely used type of rare-earth magnet, neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available. magnets, these are however excellent as a standard fridge magnet!
These 58mm diameter badges feature a rubber type magnet, allowing the badges to attach to magnetic surfaces (most commonly fridges and for vehicles awaiting sevice in the local garage).
The 58mm Badge is an excellent size for larger artwork, yet is light and inexpensive. It has a viewable area up to 55-58mm in diameter.
A 58mm badge consists of a clear plastic disk (over your artwork), pressed on to a metal top cover, which locks onto a metal back with a magnet to attach the badge onto ferrous (steel) surfaces.
Note that you have an extra step at the end of the badge making process as you need to affix the rubber magnet to the back of the badge, this simply means that you peel off the adhesive protector and then place the rubber magnet onto the back of the finished badge.
Each Pack makes 100 58mm badges and contains:
- 100 x Clear Plastic MylarMylar is often used to generically refer to polyester film or plastic sheet. However, it is a registered trademark owned by Dupont Tejjin Films for a specific family of plastic sheet products made from the resin Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET). Disks

- 100 x metal backs with rubber magnet
All you need to complete a 58mm badge is your own artwork (and an Alond 58mm Badge Machine).
